On the heels of the Limeridge Mall mural project for Lululemon, I was approached by Lululemon with a second project, and this time it was for the Mapleview Mall store that was in the process of being renovated. Burlington, Ontario, Canada is know for its beautiful waterfronts, extensive bike paths and parks, and music festivals, so working in some of those themes were what they were looking for.
As a resident of Burlington, it's an impossibility to go outside without seeing someone with their dog(s). Whether it's seeing someone walking their dog or playing with them at the park, to seeing a dog owner at the mall shopping with their dog. So this was an element I felt I would need to add to the design in some form.
